Waffle Window

A regular Portland breakfast destination for us, Waffle Window is literally just a window on a wall, serving sweet and savory waffles to the eager crowd that forms a line on the sidewalk. The waffles are delicious and inexpensive for $4.50 a plate. The menu is short, but difficult to choose from as everything just sounds really tasty.

The Waffle Window

I had the Walla Walla Onion waffle with cream cheese crustless tart and black forest ham. The walla walla onion was mixed with the cream cheese and it tasted like quiche. The waffle was just as I remembered it with its sugar crusted top providing a nice crunch to it - simply delicious!

The savory waffles were more popular in our group. We also had the Three B's - Bacon, Brie and Basil.

And the Farm Fusion, which has mushroom, spinach, roasted pepper, tomato and marinated chevre.

On the table, we also had a sweet waffle which had berries topped with whipped cream and drizzled with raspberry sauce.

We all enjoyed our waffles and we'll keep driving 3 hours to Portland for this!
